Situated at KM 97 of the Paraná River (LAT 34°09'S LONG. 58°58'W).
1) Siderca Terminal (KM 98.5).
Owned by Siderca S.A.
Reinforced concrete quay 185 meters in length, 18 meters wide. Berth
is fixed with a traveling grab fitted crane, hopper and belt system
used for the discharge of bulk iron ores. The outreach 22 meters,
and an air draft of about 17 meters. The average discharging rate
is 500 MT per hour. The berth is also used to load seamless steel
pipes, with ship's gear.
2) Euroamerica Terminal (KM 98).
Multipurpose terminal, has a quay front of 305 meters, able to berth
2 vessels of up to 200 meters. The berths are apt for loading refrigerated
cargo. The cold storage has 6.000 square meters surface, including
13 reefer compartments. The terminal also has 20.000 square meters
of covered area in warehouses for dry cargo, and an additional 40.000
square meters of open area. Direct rail access has been added.
Normally no tugs are required.
3) DEPSA (Desarollos Portuarios) (KM 97).
It is the old National pier, taken over by DEPSA. Built on reinforced
concrete, it is 116 meters long and 35 meters wide. There are 1.800
square meters of covered area storage, and 4.000 square meters open
area.
4) ESSO Marine Terminal (KM 96.5).
Owned by ESSO refinery, it has 4 berths. Crude and petroleum by-products,
and petcoke are handled through this terminal.. The berthing is
port side to jetty in all cases. Berthing and unberthing operations
are usually but not always allowed.
5) Maripasa (KM 96).
Reinfored concrete quay, 225 meters in length and 25 meters wide.
The main operations are exports and imports of vehicles. There is
also a scale weigh of 80 MT, and there are 2 sheds with 2.710 square
meter covered storage capacity.
6) Sol Petroleo (KM 95.8).
Private terminal, for bulk liquid chemicals. The berth has a central
manifold jetty, 25 meters long with three berthing dolphins, giving
70 meters frontage, with outlying mooring bollards. Tankers of up
to 230 meters LOA are accepted. Storage capacity is 19.600 cubic
meters.
7) Rhasa Terminal (KM 95.7).
Berth consists of a central manifold platform, and 2 dolphins. Thee
are 120.000 cubic meter storage capacity in tanks.
Restrictions: Maximum LOA 230 meter,
and a maximum displacement of 60.000 MT. Depending on weather conditions,
terminal asks for the use of one tug for berthing. Night-time berthing
operations are permitted.
8) TAGSA Terminal (KM 93).
The berth consists of 3 dolphins with protecting fenders, and a
central manifold jetty, 30 meters long and outlying mooring points.
The total storing capacity is 23.000 Cubic Meters, in 42 tanks.
Restrictions: 230 meters LOA.
