Situated at KM 218 of the Ibicuy River, on the left margin of the Paraná Guazu (LAT 33°39'S LONG. 59°15'W).

The only quay for ocean going vessels is of reinforced concrete, on a steel construction. It is 160 meters long, and 14 meters wide, with outlying mooring points head and stern. There is a new quay under construction, about 240 meters in length, about 200 meters South of the existing berth..

No tugs are available locally, and are not compulsory. However, vessels with over 157 meters LOA, pilots request the assistance of one tug when unberthing.
